Llenaire, Puerto de Pollensa - Mallorca
Llenaire is a truly delightful family run small luxury hotel. The metamorphosis from a large country house, some of which dates back to the 13th century, to a charming ‘home from home’ has been achieved with considerable good taste, making visitors feel like pampered house guests in a luxurious home. (Llenaire is pronounced Yen-eye-ray!)
ROOMS
Each of the 12 lovely guest rooms located either in the old manor house or the ancient hunting lodge are unique and extremely comfortably furnished, some have high ceilings and elegant fittings, others have a cosier more rustic feel. Due to the historic nature of the property no two rooms are the same. All rooms have a mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks (excluding standard classic rooms), hairdryer, safe, free Wi-fi (and throughout the hotel), air-conditioning, separate dressing room, bathrobes, CD player and satellite TV. Classic double rooms are ideal for couples and have views towards the gardens. Tastefully decorated junior suites (photo) are spacious and have views of either the garden or distant seaviews (at a supplement). Because of the additional space, junior suites can accommodate up to two extra children. For families inter-connecting rooms are also an option. Suite Llenaire (maximum two adults) offers the ultimate in comfort with a spacious double bedroom and a separate lounge. From this suite there are lovely south facing views towards the bay of Pollenca and the gardens of the property.
Buffet breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the sunny terrace (weather permitting), with hot items cooked to order. A light lunch is taken on the terrace and table d’hôte dinner is served in the main restaurant, exclusive to hotel guests, with à la carte available at a supplement. The restaurant is closed Monday evenings. There is an excellent wine list offering wines from Mallorca, Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
LIVING
The stylish saltwater infinity pool with terrace is just below the hotel , where sunbeds, umbrellas and pool towels are readily available. Back at the house there is a bar, comfortable lounge areas, a library and even a tiny chapel. Llenaire is dotted with antiques, rugs and tapestries and even works of art created by past and present family members adding to the wonderful feel of this property. The old architecture as also been preserved with a delightful colonnaded central courtyard dotted with tables and chairs, perfect for enjoying a good book or perhaps a pre-dinner drink. The large terrace has gorgeous views to the sea, a perfect place to watch the sunset.
There is also a tennis court available free of charge to hotel guests and a sauna too and bicycles are available to explore the hotel’s 100 hectares of land or you may wish to hire a car to explore further. The area is ideal for walking in lovely countryside and the Pollenca Golf Club is only 15 minutes by car.
We recommend Llenaire for its relaxing ambience and good service from the very charming family hosts.
We will get you here from the airport by private taxi in about one hour.
