San Clemente Palace Kempinski - Venice
The San Clemente Palace is located in the Venetian lagoon with wonderful views of the city. The main building dates from the 17th century when it was a thriving monastery but the beautiful church with its frescoed walls can be charted as far back as 1131.
Restored and reopened in 2014, the imposing main building surrounds four large courtyards and has vast corridors, several restaurants and 205 bedrooms. The beautiful tree-filled park has a large summer swimming pool, two tennis courts and plenty of space to relax and unwind. The island is 15 minutes from St. Mark’s Square from where the hotel operates a complimentary shuttle service. Hotel open 1 April – 31 October.
