Golden Palace - Turin
Turin's first deluxe hotel opened in 2006 in time for the Winter Olympics and boasts an excellent location, close to the Piazza San Carlo with its Belle Époque grand cafes. Behind a modern stone facade, the hotel tastefully combines contemporary design with Art Deco furnishings and also celebrates Turin's Olympic links.
The 'Winner' restaurant offers delicious Piemontese and Italian cuisine, while the Time bar is the perfect venue for cocktails and a light snack which are served outside on the terrace in fine weather. The 195 bedrooms are comfortably furnished with light, contemporary colours. The hotel's spa offers a range of treatments and a small indoor swimming pool.
