Cocobay - Antigua

The collection of gingerbread-style, pastel-painted cottages lends this resort a unique and very homely atmosphere. Perched on a hillside between two pretty beaches, Cocobay makes an ideal retreat for couples and honeymooners. It’s just a few steps down to the beach, or you can simply relax by the infinity pool or let yourself be pampered in the wellness cottage.

On a peninsula on the west coast, near the village of Valley Church.

The 57 charming cottages are scattered across the hillside and are simply furnished but attractive. Each has air-conditioning (except Standard Cottages), a ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, a small shower room and a private patio with a hammock. Standard and Deluxe Cottages have garden views whilst the popular Deluxe Pool Cottages include upgraded amenities, complimentary welcome mini bar on arrival and feature full or partial ocean views as well as private plunge pools. The more spacious Premium Waterfront Suites benefit from the best locations and ocean views and feature a separate sitting area, a complimentary welcome mini bar on arrival, private plunge pool, balcony with hammock and an outdoor bath tub. The hilltop Plantation Houses have two ensuite bedrooms, a separate living room and a large private verandah with panoramic sea views.

Rafters Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and there are also 2 bars. Sheer Rocks Restaurant is also on site but is independently owned and is not included in the all-inclusive plan.

All-Inclusive Includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner daily, unlimited drinks by the glass (excluding Champagne), and non-motorised watersports including sailing, snorkelling and kayaking. Supplements apply to some menu items, such as prime steak, lobster and shrimp.  

These include a TV room, 2 infinity pools and a wellness cottage offering a range of massage treatments. Wifi is available throughout the property at an additional charge and there is an internet desk at reception. Steps lead down to a lovely stretch of beach where complimentary watersports are offered, including sailing, snorkelling and kayaking.

Cocobay is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. Children under 18 yrs are not permitted. Sheer Rocks Restaurant will be closed between 1 July - 30 September. Some menu items such as prime steak and lobster carry a supplement at Rafters Restaurant.
