La Fuente De La Higuera - Andalucia
This charming country house is located amongst ten hectares of olive groves in the beautiful countryside, some six kilometres north of the spectacular town of Ronda – world famous for its deep gorge and breathtaking views.
The beaches of the Mediterranean are only an hour away and the hotel can be easily reached by car from Seville, Gibraltar or Málaga airports. Owned by Dutch couple Pom and Tina Piek, Fuente de la Higuera is a fine, converted 18th
century olive mill. Open all year, this is the place to relax, to enjoy good food and wine, to swim in the summer swimming pool, to sit in the shade of an acacia tree, or to read by an open fire. Of the 11 rooms just three are standard
doubles, the others are all suites or junior suites. All are individually decorated with wooden floors, comfortable armchairs, pastel walls and excellent bathrooms; the suites also have working fireplaces. Each room has its own private terrace or garden. A set dinner is prepared every evening, served either on the veranda or in the dining room; lunch is also available. There are also many excellent restaurants in Ronda.
