Casa Morisca - Granada
With its excellent location in the Moorish Albayzin district of historic Granada, this former 15th Century townhouse is now a charming family-run hotel.
As you enter the hotel from the pretty cobbled street, you are greeted by a beautiful Moorish courtyard overlooked by the galleries of the upper floors. This typical Andalucian feature is decorated with a terracotta tiled floor and a pretty fountain. The 14 bedrooms are all simply but beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Mosaic tiles adorn the whitewashed walls and all rooms have cool stone floors. Breakfast is served in the vaulted basement and there is a small terrace garden with views of the Alhambra above.
