Located in the centre of town, close to the convents of San Leandro and Santa Maria de Jesus, the Rey de Baeza is an extremely appealing and highly individual hotel.
The old buildings in which the hotel is housed were constructed in the 18th Century on the site of a house which was a gift from King Ferdinand III to the King of Baeza. The 41 bedrooms and suites, which were originally designed to keep out the summer heat, have slate floors andlead off open corridors and galleries surrounding three courtyards, giving it a Spanish colonial atmosphere. Roof-top summer swimming pool. There is a most attractive restaurant, a lounge, a library and a beautifully furnished card room.
