Alfonso XIII - Seville
Seville’s grandest hotel and a landmark of the city, the Alfonso XIII is located opposite the Alcazar Palace and close to the Torre de Oro.
Reopened in 2012 after a comprehensive restoration, there are now 151 elegant bedrooms featuring Arabesque headboards and intricately-tiled bathrooms. The central patio with its cloistered galleries, orange trees and fountain is a wonderful oasis, and the large outdoor swimming pool and extensive gardens are the perfect places to relax after a morning’s sightseeing. Drinks are served by the pool and in the famous American Bar which has been a focal point for locals and guests since the 1920s. There are two restaurants; the elegant ‘San Fernando’ and the informal ‘ENA Seville’ where you can experience gastronomic tapas dishes from renowned Catalan chef Carles Abellán.
