ROOMS
The 105 bedrooms are split between the monastery wing where the monks living quarters were originally based and the grand wing, the newer part of the hotel. Classic rooms overlook the ancient cloisters or Taormina, whilst the superior rooms boast lovely seaviews. Deluxe rooms, in the grand wing offer both seaview and balcony. Whether you choose the historic wing or the liberty style grand wing, all rooms have been comfortably furnished in a style reflecting the hotels history and facilities include bath, safe, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, air-conditioning, mini-bar and satillite TV. Executive rooms, Junior suites and suites are also available.
LIVING
The San Domenico Palace sits in superb gardens which slope down to the pool. Other active pursuits catered for here include a gym and shopping or sightseeing in the lovely old town. The inner man is well cared for with 3 different bars, an excellent four course menu at Les Bougainvilles restaurant for half board guests or a wonderfully romantic meal at the two Michelin star restaurant, the Principe Cerami.
A new addition to the hotel facilities is the Beach Club. Recently opened, the sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are provided and there is a lounge bar for refreshments plus the hotel offer a complimentary shuttle service. Use of the beach club is complimentary for guests staying in a Suite, for other room categories charges apply, payable locally.
