Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel - Sicily

ROOMS
Sicily of the 1700’s is still found in parts of this beautifully restored hotel. The 52 rooms have been created in a warm yet authentic style with a safe, hairdryer, free soft drinks in the mini-bar, TV, a shower and Wi-fi. There is a small French balcony too. Views are of baroque buildings or a partial sea view.
LIVING
The reception is very welcoming! There are Cosy sitting areas have Wi-fi. The small bar (try a latte di mandorla – almond milk with a shot of espresso) and an attractive restaurant will serve delicious buffet breakfasts and evening meals. Ortigia’s white buildings turn a magical honey colour in the evening, a perfect backdrop to a romantic stroll after a happy evening in a trattoria with a glass of local wine. The hotel can lend you bicycles free of charge too!
Catania airport is about 1 hour away.
LOCATION
The peninsula of Ortigia is the jewel in the crown of Siracusa with baroque gems and honey coloured monuments around every corner.
