Travel Insurance
Remember, travel insurance is just as essential as booking your flight or your hotel. Once you are covered, you can relax knowing you have peace of mind should anything untoward happen.
You can, if you wish, add an Excess Waiver for an extra charge which means you won't have to pay the standard policy excess if you make a claim. Simply tell us when buying your policy.
We go on holiday in the hope that nothing will go wrong but take out insurance in case the unexpected happens. Sections of the policy will carry an excess rather like your home or car insurance. Paying a little bit extra will allow you to claim the full amount back, thus giving you even more peace of mind.
You can also tailor-make the travel insurance policy to suit your trip:
| Our winter sports policy will cover you when you are skiing or snowboarding, and allows you to go off piste provided you are within the boundaries of the ski resort or within local ski patrol guidelines. The policy also includes cover for tobogganing and ice-skating, and cover can be extended to cover ice sailing / ice windsurfing, skidoo and snow mobiling. |
|
| If you take the excess waiver option, you will not need to pay the excess should you need to make a claim. |
|
| Cover is available for equipment up to a value of up to £1,000 if it is lost, stolen or damaged. If your golf clubs are subject to baggage delay, we will cover up to £25 per day to hire alternative equipment to a maximum of £100. Cover up to £75 per day is available for green fees if play is prevented. |
|
| Cover is available for the rings, gifts, wedding attire and the photos / video recordings. Choose the number of people to be covered from the drop-down list |
|
| If you are taking part in any hazardous activity, you may need to extend your cover to include this optional activity cover. Some activities will not cover any Personal Accident and Personal Liability claims, some activities will also have an increased Excess of £250 for medical claims. Please refer to page 8 of the policy wording for full details of what activities are covered. |
